Quorn Butter Chicken (Healthy Version)

I made this recipe for the first time tonight because the original version, although delicious, is very calorific.
I used Quorn instead of chicken, and it was great.
We ate ours with Cauliflower rice, please see my previous post.

Ingredients

2 cm piece of ginger

1 onion

3 cloves garlic

1 chilli

4 cardamom pods

1 cinnamon stick

4 cloves

2 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp paprika

1 tbsp white vinegar

80 g tomato paste

140 g Greek yoghurt

400 g can of tomatoes or fresh

1 tbsp of Kasoori Methi

180 g stock

750 g Quorn chicken/chicken fillets

250 g Creme fraiche

2 tsp garam masala

Method

Add ginger, onion, garlic, chilli, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick and cloves into the bowl, speed 7/2-5 secs.

Add a little oil or butter and program 2 mins/100 c/speed 1.

Add ground coriander, ground cumin, paprika, vinegar, tomato paste and yoghurt and program 2 mins/100 c/speed 1.

Add can of tomatoes , Kasoori Methi and stock to the bowl and program 20 mins/100 c/speed 1.

Once the sauce is cooked add the Creme fraiche and garam masala and program 1 min/speed 9.

Add the Quorn chicken pieces to the bowl and program 8 mins/100 c/Reverse/ Speed 1.

Once cooked, serve with the cauliflower rice or rice of your choice.
